stacy l asked: My daughter turns 16 in November, and in lieu of a party has asked for a mother/daughter weekend in NYC. She has been before on a class trip so she’s seen Times Square and the common tourist attractions. Anything else we’d need to see or do? How do I find a decent hotel that won’t cost $500/night? We’ll be flying in on a Saturday and out on a Sunday so time isn’t on our side. Any insight is appreciated.
Thanks.

Roxin asked: It’s going to be a weekend trip. We’ll start out in Indiana and drive there in a day. By the time we get there it will be evening and we’ll need a place to stay. Where’s a good hotel for a limited budget? Also, the next day we’ll want to go sightseeing and see a musical on broadway. We wouldn’t want to take the car so where should we leave it? And what transportation should we be able to take to where we need to go when we can’t walk?

afvchic asked: Looking at taking a trip to the Big Apple with our 5 kids in January for an extended weekend. Kids are in grades 4th thru 9th – boys and girls. This will be our first trip to NYC. Nothing too outrageously expensive. Any recommendations?

Shelly Winters asked: I’ve never visited New York City ever. My boyfriend lives in Brooklyn and he is wanting me to visit to get the feel of the city before relocating myself half way across the nation. In this though he also asked if there was any place in particular I wanted to visit. I know that New York City can be a very romantic (along with crude) place. I was just wanting some input.

travellermaan asked: I might go visit New York City by myself for a couple of days, so I don’t know what there is and where to stay or whatever. Oh and what could I do there.
