Although the Vatican is in Italy, it is a separate country. Indian citizens are required to have a tourist visa, obtainable at a Vatican consulate in India.

well im not too sure, the vatican city is very small, so im guessing ur not plnning on staying there over night or anything.
i went there a few years back, 2years ago, and there was no need to check passports or any documentation, well not from my memory anyway. it was just metal detectors.

I don’t think you need a visa to the Vatican City. All you can do in the Vatican City is visit the vatican museum and St. peter’s Bascillica. As long as you buy the Ticket around 13euros, then your on your way. Vatican is very beautiful Be sure to get a guide. Its really helpful rather than touring it on your own. Its really worth it. When i went to the vatican, i got a guide even though it costs me a lot, but way worth it. its more or less 4 hours tours, full of stories and information that they only know.
Good Luck and enjoy your tour

I don’t see why you would. I have been there many times and have never been asked to show my passport.

I don’t think so.. I am Italian and I can say to you that there is no visa control to visit Vatican state. It is almost like visiting other EU countries.

    No.

Once you are in Italy, you can enter and leave Vatican City at will.

    With love in Christ.
