If I were to visit London, England or move there, would I pick up the accent?

Depends what kind of person you are. More then likely you will pick up a bit of there slang and maybe even say it with a bit of an accent.
Some people pick it up a little, but you’ll never have a full blown British accent.
Notice I said some. On the other hand, some people don’t pick it up at all. It all depends on you:)
(Most British boys find American accents attractive, so I’d work hard to stick with that!!)
Not 100%, but Madonna and Tina Turner moved there and it has changed their speech somewhat. The accent itself doesn’t form, but people’s English becomes more proper sounding when exposed to it for a long time. I also have American friends there, and I noticed the same thing with them.
Not really, U.S. accents are too strong.
Possibly. It depends how long you are here for, I guess, but some people never lose their original accent. I have American friends who have lived in London for twelve years and still sound to me like they only left Chicago last week.
