Once again the summer holiday breaks have come, for the kids its a dream come true, they get to spend six weeks relaxing and not having to worry about school or worry about homework of any sort. But for the parents it can be quite a stressful time as most kids tend to get bored and end up playing up.

A lot of families choose to go abroad for the summer to get away and relax, but due to the credit crisis this is not happening this year.

United Kingdom Holiday

UK family holidays are up a vast amount this year, you will save yourself a huge amount by taking a break in the UK. Why not take a journey down to Devon or Torquay and relax in the great English culture.

Staying in with Games Consoles and Televisions

This is something that every kid loves doing; allow them to have six great weeks of playing computer consoles or watching TV. Although it may not be very good for their health, they will adore you as they literally get to be completely lazy for over a month.

Job

Ok this one may sound a bit irksome, but why not make your kids get a part time occupation? This way they will literally learn to respect themselves and things that they buy as they have worked very hard for it.

Day Trips

This may well end up costing you a bit of money, but visiting the theme park and zoo will be a great experience.
